Hi, my name is Angelo and just like you, I am a consumer of services. No big deal you might think and I will agree. Everybody is consuming services, one way or another. And not only that, there are many many people that want to talk about it. I will agree again. However, the difference here is what you are doing with your opinion. In many cases, people are talking about their experience, with the hope to get views, to create an influencer persona that might be paid to promote products or services. In other cases we have consumers that are not satisfied with their experience and they try to harm the selling companies with bad comments and reviews.
This is where things change for me. In my case, I want to better understand what went wrong with the service, what we can improve or what we can learn out of this. As customers, consumers or even as companies if we stand at the other side of the exchange. You can think this as consumer activism, especially at a time that companies claim using data and AI to better service us, but cannot handle a complaint or a bad review on an online platform.
Thus, this is it. I will start publishing and discussing some of my experiences of services, some of which I had during my travels around the world. Hopefully this will make services better…or at least make me feel less angry about bad services!
